kim duchateau

Kim Duchateau (BE, 1968) studied animated film at the KASK Conservatoire in Ghent. He appears to be an all-rounder and has made various films, paints and even writes songs. Nevertheless, Kim is mainly known as a cartoonist for De Morgen, Knack and other periodicals, and as the creator of Esther Verkest and Aldegonne. Apart from these two series, he also publishes many other strip cartoons and has also regularly drawn at several live performances. In 2007 he won the Bronze Adhemar Prize.
