After the success of the previous editions, Poetik Bazar is back on 22, 23 and 24 September 2023. This year, Poetik Bazar moves to Les Halles de Schaerbeek.
Poetry publishers from Belgium, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Quebec have come together for this event. Much like the publishing market, Poetik Bazar offers a rich and multilingual programme consisting of readings, meetings and workshops intended to highlight the vitality of the contemporary poetry scene.
On Friday September 22 at 8pm, Passa Porta welcomes you to its opening night. This multilingual evening is free and fully subtitled in both French and Dutch. Enjoy performances by Tanella Boni, Susinukke Kosola, Diana Anphimiadi, Sara Eelen, Simone Atangana Bekono, Guy Goffette, Doina Ioanid and Maya Cousineau Mollen. Step aboard with us for a poetic journey from the Ivory Coast to Quebec, crossing through Finland and Georgia, graced by the experimental sounds of Fulco Ottervanger, all under the guidance of actor and author Rashif El Kaoui.
