Frequently asked questions
1. Where can I buy tickets?
For this edition of our Passa Porta Festival, we have decided to show our events online through own own streaming platform. More information about this exceptional edition here:
https://www.passaporta.be/en/about-passa-porta-festival-1
For the tickets, there are two options:
- You can either buy a ‘Festival Pass’ that gives you full access to all the events of the festival.
- Or you can buy a single ticket for a single event.
In either case, you decide the amount you pay from among three possible prices. A personal choice, ranging from an ‘entry-level’ price to a ‘support’ price. More information about our prices here:
https://www.passaporta.be/en/tickets-1 - You can also buy your tickets directly through this link:

2. What do the different prices correspond to? What’s the best formula?
There is no good or bad formula: you decide the amount you pay from among three possible prices. It is a personal choice, ranging from an ‘entry-level’ price to a ‘support’ price, depending on your needs and wishes. It’s your choice!
3. How can I watch free event(s)?
For our free events, all you have to do is visit the page of the event(s) you’re interested in and ‘buy’ a free ticket via our ticket provider.
https://www.passaporta.be/en/program
You will then receive a purchase confirmation email with the ticket you can download. The ticket will feature a unique link that will give you access to the festival’s streaming platform where you can watch the relevant event for free.
4 . How can I book a place for a close reading/workshop if I’ve already bought a Pass?
If you buy a Digital Festival Pass, you will have access to the festival’s streaming platform where you can watch all the events you’re interested in (all you have to do is click on the link given on your Pass).
Registration is only necessary for events such as workshops and close readings. To join these participatory events with a very limited capacity, visit the page of the workshop or close reading and reserve your place as soon as possible by ‘buying’ a free ticket at no extra cost. Enter the unique reservation code given on your Pass, and you will then receive an individual ticket for the selected workshop or close reading. This ticket will take the form of a link to our streaming platform (different from the link on your Pass).
5. Is my Pass valid for the whole festival and does it give me access to all events?
If you buy a Digital Festival Pass, you will have access to the festival’s streaming platform where you can watch all the events you’re interested in (all you have to do is click on the link given on your Pass). It is not necessary to register in advance for these events.
However, if you want to join a workshop or close reading (participatory events with a very limited capacity), you should reserve your place as early as possible. To do so, visit the page of the workshop or close reading you’re interested in and reserve your place by ‘buying’ a free ticket at no extra cost. Enter the unique reservation code given on your Pass and you will then receive an individual ticket for the selected workshop or close reading.
This ticket will take the form of a link to our streaming platform (different from the link on your Pass).
