The international house of literature Passa Porta is a unique, multilingual meeting place in the heart of Brussels for anyone and everyone curious about ideas, texts and stories. It is where readers meet their favourite writers from Belgium and abroad and where they discover new talents. It is where authors and translators have access to a stage or a workspace. And every two years the Passa Porta Festival celebrates Brussels as a city of literature with the arrival of hundreds of writers and artists from around the world.

From March 28 to 30, 2025, the Passa Porta Festival returns to Brussels to celebrate its 10th edition! Are you passionate about literature? Or simply eager to get to know the cultural world of Brussels? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team!
The Passa Porta Festival unites over 100 national and international writers and artists in the heart of Brussels to share their love for literature with literary enthusiasts. Through books, talks, readings and poetry, they explore today's world. With them, we celebrate Belgian and international literature in more than ten venues in the city centre.
