Passa Porta Festival
The Passa Porta Festival is one big celebration of national and international literature! Every two years Passa Porta draws the best authors to Brussels for a delightfully long literary weekend.

Along with Muntpunt, the Brussels Book Fair and Le 140, the international house of literature Passa Porta is part of ‘Brussels City of Stories’, a multifaceted project that aims to inhabit the territory of Brussels in a poetic way by filling the city with the stories of the people who live here. The challenge? Brussels, with its 180 nationalities and almost a hundred languages, is full of stories that are just waiting to be told!

Every year the Académie Goncourt presents the Choix Goncourt de la Belgique. The Académie makes an initial selection. A jury composed of students from no fewer than ten Belgian universities then selects the winning title. Passa Porta lends its support for the selection of the laureate.
