A Unique Partnership for Educators

This 10-week program, held entirely online from 25 June till 6 September 2024, will equip educators with valuable tools and strategies to create a more peaceful and inclusive learning environment for their learners.

Stronger Educators, Stronger Learners

This summer school is designed for educators in formal and non-formal settings and harnesses the transformative power of language and literature. It aims to inspire educators to use diverse texts to promote critical thinking, peace, and empathy among their learners.

Through engaging webinars, workshops, and interactive sessions, educators will explore various themes related to peace, diversity, and inclusivity within the context of language and literature. This dynamic learning experience will equip educators with practical strategies to integrate diverse voices and perspectives into their teaching and foster an educational culture of tolerance and empathy. Topics that will be covered in the program include:

• Fostering inclusion and diversity through literature
• Using Persian literature and poetry in peace education
• The importance of literature in multilingual education

Building a Global Community of Inspired Educators

The summer school goes beyond academics. It is an opportunity for Persian-speaking educators to connect with a vibrant global community of like-minded individuals. Interactive online forums and workshops will provide a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange and the creation of new ideas to strengthen their impact as educators.

Timing, contact and registration

Registration for the program is possible starting 7 June 2024.

The program will officially kick off with an opening session on 26 June 2024 and ends on 6 September 2024.
