Co-create and publish: zine publishing workshop
Never before have so many opinions been recorded as in these late capitalist times: everyone is telling stories, incessantly – typing, chatting, editing and writing. But who decides which texts make the glorious transition from pixel to ink? Mnemotope, the international award-winning zine published by Bog Bodies Press, welcomes all text forms with open arms and gives authors who don’t fit into the pigeonholes of publishing houses the chance to print their texts. The magazine is now sold in seven countries. During this creative publishing workshop, the founders of Mnemotope will teach you how to cobble together a publication and start your own tiny publishing company.

The workshop consists of two parts. First, you experiment with your own writing. Second, you collaborate with others to turn your texts into a coherent zine. The founders of Bog Bodies Press will provide step-by-step guidance and their expertise.

The workshop is open to anyone who writes occasionally – whether a shopping list, a poetic snapshot in the notes app, an unpublished novel, or an exceptionally funny comment in a group chat.
