Get real
Enough already with gratuitously using the virtual world as as dumping ground, illustrator Shamisa Debroey must have thought when she came up with the idea of the Black Box, her answer to the current trend of unloading our worries anonymously in the virtual world.
For a brief moment, the Box will literally and figuratively be the darkest corner of Brussels: you drop your boldest statement in a large box, in which three duos of illustrators and poets get to work on them and offer your worries an artistic release. The end result will be shown that evening in the Beurscafé.
Metamorfose
Artist duos Zed and David J. McMillan, Esohe Weyden and Frederik Van den Stock, and Moka Boka and Sarah Adriaenssens worked all afternoon on the worries of the Passa Porta Festivalgoers.
You can discover the results of their hard work during this performance in the Beurscafé. This time you yourself have to enter the Black Box. You will be plunged into a wonderful world, created by you and your visual and word artists – WiFi free.
