Since his debut in the 1970s, Iain Sinclair (b. 1943 in Cardiff) has published dozens of novels, non-fiction books, essays and poetry volumes. Famous early works include Lud Heat and Downriver. In his recent works, such as the trilogy London Orbital / London Overground and The Last London: True Fictions from an Unreal City, his occultism and psychogeography are ubiquitous. In 2018 he published Living with Buildings: Walking with Ghosts – On Health and Architecture (Wellcome), a razor-sharp analysis of our urban environment.
