BOOKTAILS HERVE

Passa Porta’s breezy podcast summer series: literature shaken and stirred!

In this Booktail we meet the French writer Hervé Le Tellier, whose recent novel L'anomalie was awarded the Prix Goncourt and the Choix Goncourt de la Belgique. About this, and much more, he talks to Caroline Lamarche, the godmother of the Belgian prize.

Le Tellier is a man of many talents: he writes novels, short stories, poems, plays and columns, and is also a publisher. He is furthermore a member of the Oulipo movement founded by Raymond Queneau, who revived literature by combining it with mathematical and other rules. Le Tellier himself, for instance, is fond of labyrinths and starts his novel with a riddle. In this podcast you will find a few keys to unravel it.
