Thanks to Rita Bullwinkel and Bregje Hofstede Passa Porta took on the air of a steaming hot boxing ring. The authors talked about Headshot, Bullwinkel’s bold debut novel in which eight young women face each other in a boxing match. Bullwinkel’s unforgettable characters grapple with the emotional and psychological toll of top-level sports, gender dynamics, the fine line between passion and obsession and the struggle for a place to be.
