Fortune telling and oracles go back centuries and were often interwoven with literature. The many authors we have worked with over the past twenty years have taught us an important lesson: if you have a solid grasp of storytelling techniques, you often have a good understanding of the ways in which history can repeat itself in the future. Our fortune tellers will therefore be replacing the familiar characters of the tarot deck with groundbreaking literary figures. Drop by Hotel Continental between 14:00 and 18:00 to get a glimpse of what ghosts will haunt your future.
pick your poison
Our fortune-tellers will be working with two oracles. Queue up for a session with the literary witch oracle that predicts the future using icons such as Virginia Woolf, Sappho and Forough Farrokhzad, or take part in the tarot game created by Virginie Despentes and tattoo artist La Rata.

If you are waiting in line, you can also delve into literature in a less esoteric way. The latest novels by our festival authors are at your disposal while you wait.
don’t forget about summer hour. on sunday 30th of march, hours will change from 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
